Before the journey, there’s the preparation. Before momentum, there’s alignment. Before growth, there’s strategy.
That’s what Portside means to us – it’s where the modern explorer refuels, resupplies, and recalibrates. It’s the place where next steps are mapped and future gains are provisioned. Portside Digital exists to serve that role for bold, movement-driven brands – whether your world is in the wild, on the water, or in the studio.
We’re not another generic agency. We’re built for brands in motion – grounded in experience, driven by passion, and ready to scale.
Our mission is simple:
Patrick Vincler is a senior marketing strategist with 16+ years driving measurable growth across SaaS, eCommerce, and experience-driven brands. At Portside, he leads strategy for outdoor, adventure, fitness, and marine clients – building full-funnel systems that have delivered 24% ARR growth, 30% eCommerce revenue gains, and 15% CAC reduction.
His expertise spans CRM, automation, content, and digital transformation, with a strong record of launching AI-powered tools and multi-channel campaigns that scale sustainably.
Off the clock, Patrick lives the lifestyle. He’s supported scientific missions in Antarctica, joined a North Pole circumnavigation expedition, certified in sailing (ASA & US Sailing), flies as a P-3 paragliding pilot, and has summited Mt. Whitney (14,505′) and Vinicunca (16,522′).
Grant Guthrie is a marketing entrepreneur with 18+ years building and scaling digital agencies. He founded Portside to lead business development for marine, adventure, and outdoor brands – building full-funnel campaigns, CRM systems, and conversion engines that help them sell faster and grow sustainably.
When he’s not at his desk, Grant is chasing horizons. A licensed 100-ton captain, he’s equally at home on offshore passages as he is flying paragliders, leading 4×4 expeditions, or riding motorcycles through remote terrain. He’s trekked the Drakensberg, climbed serious rock, trained as a certified arms instructor, and become a precision archer.
That real-world experience is what lets him create marketing that actually resonates – with brands and the customers who live the lifestyle.
